Palm Desert Youth Soccer league is PDYSL’s most popular program. This recreational soccer club has leagues for all age groups. PDYSL offers a competitive and fun environment where kids can develop their skills while making friends that will last them a lifetime! Come join the over 900 players who already participate in this great activity.
Hovley Soccer Park
Hovley Soccer Park is located on Hovley Road in Palm Desert California, and it offers an abundance of fun for people of all ages! PDYSL works with the park staff to ensure that our players have everything they need for their PDYSL experience. We offer leagues from U-06 through U-14.
Palm Desert Soccer Club, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization of CalSouth and member association of US Youth Soccer, offers recreational soccer programs in the Coachella Valley since 1985. The Palm Desert Youth Soccer League (PDYSL) serves over 900 players in the fall and approximately 250 players in our winter league.
This fall league will generally run from September through the first week of December. The U6 and U8 players in the league have one practice each week with a game on Saturday., U10, U12 & U14 players have two practices per week and play every Saturday game. Games are officiated by independent, paid referees and follow the US Youth Soccer playing rules. Teams are coached by volunteers, some of whom have been involved with the club for many years. Our Winter League follows the US Youth Soccer small-sided format..
Our recreational soccer program participates in post-season tournaments offered by CalSouth, including Signature Soccer.
Palm Desert Soccer Club
Our youth competitive soccer program (PDSC) aims to provide the Coachella Valley’s highly skilled players an opportunity to test their skills against top California competition. The club is fresh off its second state cup championship and has recently had finalists in numerous elite tournaments in California.
The Palm Desert Soccer Club forms teams by selecting players of similar athletic talents to train and play at the highest level possible. Technical skills, tactical knowledge, and teamwork are key components of youth soccer development. The Palm Desert Soccer club believes high-level competitive soccer helps players develop discipline, commitment, build self-esteem, evolve lasting relationships and learn life lessons that transcend winning on the field. PDSC teaches good sportsmanship, including respect for opponents and being good losers.
The Club ensures the players are provided with opportunities to develop. The Director of Coaches and professional staff are responsible for making technical decisions on player development based on what is in the best interest of individual players..To maximize their development and heighten their competitive edge, players need the best training possible.
